Sorry, I am chicken to climb it, even not in my dream to do so.

If it is a hiking, not rock climbing, u can accomplish it within 12 hrs. The only thing u need to take care is water. Bring at least 2 bottles of water w/u.

This is the one to the east entrance of the park. Then u r on highway #395. A couple of hrs down south, it is the Mammoth Lake, the best ski resort in southern CA. It is not a NP, but a very enjoyable place whatever u do, camping and hiking in summer and skiing in winter.

Further down south along #395, it is the Mt Whitney, the highest peak in American Continent, 14,505 feet (4,421 m).
