MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring proper maintenance and installation of equipment in the Distribution Centre while maintaining high safety standards at all times. Duties include: repairing and maintaining dock shelters and material transport systems, troubleshooting electro-mechanical conveyor and high rack storage systems, repairing, maintaining and troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems, installing new equipment and performing preventative maintenance on all equipment. You will also provide guidance and support to an apprentice.
The ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a Government Certificate of Qualification-Industrial Millwright and 5 years experience in an automated distribution environment. Also required is PLC experience ,familiarity with Bar code scanning equipment , good communication skills, attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to read technical drawings and diagrams.
