冬奧雖然距離比賽日還有九十多天, 但已直接影響到一些到北岸遠足或滑野雪的戶外愛好者。
BC Park公佈, 以準備冬奧保安理由, Black Mountain Trail, Howe Sound Crest Assess Trail, Hollyburn Mountain Upper Romstad Nordic Trail由十二月一日至四月一日不會開放給公眾人仕使用。看來我們的選擇又少了, 唯有多去Chilliwack, Manning Park....

Temporary Backcountry Trail restrictions:
The following trails will be closed to the public in order to implement security perimeters:
Black Mountain: December 1, 2009 to April 1, 2010
Howe Sound Crest Winter Access including Bowen Lookout: December 1, 2009 to April 1, 2010
Hollyburn Hikers Access Trail:
No access on the BC Parks Backcountry Access Trail above the top of the Upper Romstad Nordic Trail: December 1, 2009 to March 8, 2010
No access on the entire length of the trail: February 1 to March 8, 2010.
Note: Trail users are advised that security personnel may be encountered on any of these trails prior to closure dates.
Temporary Park Access restrictions:
Between February 1 and March 8, 2010, the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) will have exclusive use of the ski area venue to create an Olympic-calibre environment for athletes, workforce, media and spectators. During this time, public access will be restricted within Cypress Park including the Nordic area.
Road Restrictions:
During the exclusive use period (February 1 – March 8, 2010), access to the mountain will be limited to 2010 Winter Games and local traffic only as a security and public safety measure.
There will be no spectator or public parking at the Cypress Mountain venue during the 2010 Winter Games period. |
