DESCRIPTION:

Join me on a trip to Zoa peak at the Coquihalla summit area. (103 hikes #89)  You are welcome to bring snowshoes or skis, whatever you prefer. The pace will be moderate with few breaks.

This is a serious backcountry trip under winter conditions, so you have to bring an avalanche kit and need to know how to use it.

Since the drive is long and the days are short, we will meet relatively early at 6.45am at the Safeway parking lot Commercial @ Broadway and have to leave at 7am sharp.

Please make sure you can make it to the meeting spot in time. I think the sky train runs already but buses might be a problem.

I have room for two more people in my car, so it would be great if you had a car and were willing to drive.
