想请教一下Spud Gun在加拿大温哥华又没有什么限制？

儿子在网上看到很多孩子自己制作Spud Gun（又称为Potato Gun），一天
到晚嚷嚷着要我帮他买材料弄一个。从网络上的视频中看到，这玩艺儿的威力
还不小，从Wikipedia上查到说这个东西在加拿大不算Firearm。

那时否代表着我可以DIY呢？有没有哪位大虾认识RCMP（或者能从RCMP那
里）找到官方对Spud Gun的信息？在此多谢了！ :lol:

A spud gun is not considered a firearm unless it fires a projectile faster than 152.4 meters per second and at a muzzle energy exceeding 5.7 Joules based on the definition of a firearm in the Canadian Criminal Code.[2] A spud gun may be interpreted as an imitation firearm, and therefore it would be illegal to have it in possession in a public place. The spud gun would most likely be considered a dangerous weapon, and therefore if an offence is committed with it, a possession of a dangerous weapon charge could be issued.

就是说，在加拿大（包括BC省）算不算武器取决于你做的“家伙”的威力大小。过了限定，就危险，警察叔叔就要找你喝咖啡。

目前我还没有亲眼看见过这类武器。
