Hi Lulu, I would like to join the trip; 1 car can drive

Singing Pass Area
Be prepared for winter travel /camping conditions with 1.5 meters of snow.
Singing Pass trail - many wind fallen trees exist around 7-10km from the village, expect to find more trees across the trail as the snow melts. Trail clearing will occur soon.
Use caution - Beware of open creek crossings - Harmony Creek bridge was removed at 6km from village and may be hazardous to cross during periods of high water flow. Rapid melting is occurring, use extra caution and assess before crossing creeks, or any body of water.
看了一下最近的trail report,看来得做好溯溪的准备了,倒树很多,估计时间会加长。
The issue with the trees is not really a big problem and there is a way to get around the main blowdown section. the pdf notes it indicates fallen trees from 6 -11 km.
The Harmony creek bridge has been missing for over two years now but is not a big issue to cross.
I have left a message with Chris Platz at the Squamish district office to call me regarding the trail condition and update on clearing the trees from the trail. I will call him again this afternoon.
Otherwise we can bypass the blowdown section lower down near fitzsimmons creek. |
