x country 的装备能用在 downhill 上吗
Yes it can. But it depends on what you want to acheive.
It's quite a complicated issue.
For the ski itself. There are many types:
x-country classic
x-country skating (this one strictly used on groomed track)
down-hill skis
** The binding, the boots, the poles and the ski are differ.
x-country classic can be subdivided into:
light touring
back country touring (telemark)
** The binding, the boots, and the ski are differ.
** The major difference between these two types of ski is that the light touring is not good in turning. It is good in skiing in a straight line.
Down-hill skis can be subdivided into:
down-hill (for resort skiing type, like the one we are learning)
down-hill back country
** The binding and the boots are differ. The ski is quite the same.
I am going to try my X-country ski on downhill this Sunday.
(My ski is somewhat between light touring and back country touring-telemark) |
