Advice on Snowshoes!

For all seasoned snowshoers:

This week, Atmosphere has a snowshoe and pole package for sale at 50% off. They are:

Tubbs Trailhead Snowshores
McKinley Lost Peak Treking Ploes
Package price at $129.98.

I have never snowshoed before and hope to pick up the sport. I am planning to go for some day trips in the local mountains. Please advise whether the package is any good.

钢管snowshoes is slipery on the steep slopes. MSR snowshoes are the best and most importantly suitable for hiking on the slopes!

Evo 的22的对我来说会不会太小？需不需要买一个尾巴？体重加上背包肯定超过180lb了。
