Ignite different types of bullet outside of a barrel

Conclusion 1
Projectiles ignited outside a firearm have significantly lower velocities and energies than when shot from a firearm.


Drop ammo from extreme height

Conclusion 2
When dropped from extreme heights. Sporting ammunition is unlikely to ignite. if a cartridge ignites. It does not propagate.

Shot into boxes of ammo

Conclusion 3
Most of the ammunition did not ignite. When a cartridge did ignite. There was no chain reaction.

Ignite the primer of one bullet in a box of ammo

Conclusion 4
Ignition using a blasting cap is difficult. and does not propagate.

Run over and smash boxes of ammos with a tank

Even in the most extreme conditions of compression and friction. Sporting ammunition is unlikely to ignite. And does not propagate.

好帖,前两天当公寓楼道的火警叫时,我就担心自己的弹药箱在火灾中会不会子弹横飞,有人中弹不就要算在我头上,然后我又担心扛着弹药箱逃难,还要拿救生包,不就很麻烦吗?要是来个天灾人祸,几十斤的弹药箱是个big trouble

弟兄们,我回来了。前一段时间会温哥华参加公司的活动,虽然回来了也按定不下来,今天总算安稳下来了,感谢我不在温哥华期间大家对于网站的支持。

谢谢分享!看完这个视频后,对我的弹药箱放心多了。不过测试中没有使用军用子弹,我想也应该和商业子弹差不多吧。
