We will do BCMC this saturay AND this sunday morning@8:00am from Grouse Mountain free parking lot (the meeting place), anyone here is more than welcome to join us.

you must to bring a a pair microspikes or other traction devices if you join.

I will only do BCMC which no need for bringing lunch & snowshoes. You can go snowshoeing yourself to Dam mountain, it is well marked trail("SSG"), maybe Panshibo will join you?

我的一天到目前为止也很丰富，回到家才十点半，做了顿很好的中饭，还看了场电影，还有剩下好几个小时可以工作 :wink:

最近气温较高，BCMC的雪线上移，标记约六十以下无雪，我们也是近标记七八十才上的小冰爪。希望二周后Garibaldi Lake冻实让我们安全横穿...

Garibaldi Lake一般一月底到五月间封冻，但记得有一年我们一月份day hiking到湖畔，看见想横穿的两位俄罗斯滑雪者半路折返--因为湖中还没有冻..

Burton Hut Registration

The Burton Hut sleeps 10 comfortably and 15 is cozy. Make sure Garibaldi lake is frozen before you try to cross it. Typically it is frozen by the start of February.

"..Lpwer garibaldi lake isn't completely frozen over, and we didn't venture out too much on the garibaldi lake ice. It was fairly slushy and I don't think it's totally frozen over in the Sphinx Bay area, but it was tough to tell from our vantage point. If you're crossing the lake in the next week or two, be careful! .."

我也很担心这个，今年的温度太高了，山上的雪很少，昨天我们去的alpen都没多少雪，1700米，不用雪鞋都可以。而且树上的雪融化的稀里哗啦的。
我们密切关注吧
