Adventuring deep into the beautiful South Chilcotins on mountain bikes, Max Bitel and friends push the limits of traditional trail riding. Join us on his account of several trips to the area, including a 9 day traverse taking them along spectacular ridge lines, summit scrambles, and endless flowing singletrack.

Everyone is welcome... visitors, members and guests. The BCMC Social will take place at the Vancouver ANZA Club (corner of 8th Ave and Ontario) on the main floor, Tuesday May 14th. The entrance door will be opened shortly after 7pm for general seating and the meeting will begin shortly after 7:30pm.

The British Columbia Mountaineering Club is dedicated to the enjoyment and exploration of the mountains, valleys and alpine regions of British Columbia through activities such as climbing, hiking, backpacking and ski touring. In addition to direct involvement in the outdoors through its trips and camps, the Club is active in conservation, trail and hut construction, trail maintenance, mountain safety and education.
