YOUR CHOICE - STAY IN THE HUT OR IN OWN TENT

Elevation Gain: 340 m
Total Distance: 4.5 km (one way)

Microspikes or/and Crampons
Snowshoes
Camping gear

Meeting Time: will be emailed to registered hikers noon time two days prior to the trip.

NOTE: if minimum safety levels are not met, the trip will be canceled, last minute cancellations do occur.

IMPORTANT
ALTHOUGH the organizer of this trip has received training in mountaineering and alpine/crevasse rescue, he is NOT a professional mountaineer, guide or trained first aid attendant. The function of the organizer is only to organize the trip, ensure it gets underway and be familiar or have knowledge of the access to the area, the route or routes. Participants on a trip are responsible for their own safety and are expected to have the necessary skills, experience, fitness, suitable first aid supplies and appropriate equipment in good working order.

For those who plan to sleep in own tent:
- will practice skills of securely attaching tent to snow
- practice bowline knot: purpose and technique
- don't forget to bring snow shovel

For those who plan to sleep in the hut:
- bring $5 cash and give it to Vera
- Vera is responsible for group payment

Nice weather! Looking forward to meeting everybody tomorrow. This is our 3rd time to sleep in Keith's Hut. Jesse and I love it. Last time we left Scrabble there and we will bring Bananagram this time. Let's play and have fun. :)
