You all undoubtedly heard of the recent story of the snowshoer who was
resuscitated after spending several hours in a tree well. The remarkable thing
is the length of time that CPR was performed. Perhaps many of you are thinking,
how long should CPR be performed? How do you even do CPR? In seeking answers to
those question, now might be a good time to think about getting some wilderness
first aid training.
Several companies offer wilderness first aid courses. In the past, Spiritus
Training has offered discounts for Wanderung subscribers - and you can call it
out to the list to fill up spaces! Canada West Mountain School, who have
generously supported Wanderung over the years, is another place to go for
