MEC is running a series of introductory navigation courses

For those of you who couldn't make it to Bob Manson's recent navigation course,
you might like to know that MEC is running a series of introductory navigation
courses at its North Vancouver store. The next one with places available is 25
May, and they're held every 4 weeks throughout the year. If you're new to
navigating by topo map, we highly recommend that you take one. Note that while
they are on Sundays, the courses are short so you have plenty of time to get out
into the backcountry afterwards to practice your newly-acquired skills.
