3 - MEC workshops

If winter activities aren't your thing, then how about brushing up on some
useful skills? MEC continues to offer its introductory navigation workshops at
the Vancouver and North Vancouver stores. If you're thinking about getting in to
backpacking this summer, then the time to start working up to that is now. Begin
your preparation with an introductory workshop at the Vancouver store. The North
Van store also offers an intro to winter backcountry camping.

The workshops are free, but space is limited so register ahead of time.
