4 - Fallout from Falls Lake break-ins

A post shared on Facebook by the Chilliwack Outdoor Club reports on the
aftermath of a vehicle break-in at the Falls Lake (Zoa Peak) trailhead. The
thieves stole keys and insurance documents from a car, and have since used
information from the theft to steal from a storage locker.

Sadly, while infrequent, break-ins such as this one have occurred at many
popular trailheads. Be sure to make your car as unappealing a target as possible
- take your insurance documents with you on hikes (especially overnight trips),
don't leave anything that can identify you or your home address, or anything
else of value in the car. Passengers - that goes for you too! Don't be the
reason someone's car was broken into.
