我也是会员，8月底的长周末刚刚去回，去了多次，感觉比REI好，特价多，我比较过，如果正价商品价钱差不多，

I dropped by the REI in Bellingham after Sat hiking. It is much smaller than the one in downtown, about one quarter only. I understand it is another 86 miles driving.

Last Saturday I didn't find jacket that I want to buy at REI in Bellingham.I've never been REI in downtown. Probably I will be there next time.

补充一下，MEC正常的标价不比REI便宜，但他的特价多很多，网上有outlet，可以指定商店取货，好像似Seattle的outlet
我是9月4日到的Oregon Portland的店，正好赶上Labor Day额外特价共买了4件，2件防紫外线的短裤，原价40，第一次折扣30，当天50%折扣，15，1件Marmor防风雨、保暖的上衣，原价160，第一次折扣129，当天50%折扣62.5（好像只有一件S号，正是我需要的）另一件同样45元最后20元。
