2017十月长周末SR20经典赏秋路线： Blue Lake, PCT, Maple Pass Loop

October 7th, organized by LuLu, we 12 people in 4 cars, heading to North Cascades National Park. started 2 nights car camping and 3 days hiking trip. First destination is Blue Lake. As planned, first day each car went each own way, as long as we meet at Lone Fir Camping site at 5:30pm. Our car arrived at boarder about 7:50am, and passed around 8:40, Without Nexus card, it is not bad for a long weekend. We stopped by Costco Wholesale (4125 Arctic Avenue, Bellingham) filled gas, and went to close by Fred Meyer (1225 W Bakerview Rd, Bellingham) for food. From Pacific Truck Crossing, driving on I-5 and Hwy 20, it is total 230km to trail head. We arrived at blue lake trail head at 12:30. It is only a short 7 km round trip. It started to snow; we got the first taste of snow of the year. The desire to see the golden Larch, drove us to hike quickly through the forest. By the time we arrived the lake, the snow has been over two inches thick. The lake is beautiful, the mountain around the lake was faded in the snow. Still, the gold larch with its bright color satisfied our eyes.

相片中父亲抱的前面的娃三岁，基本上是自己一步步走到Cutthroat pass的(来回距离十六公里爬高六百多米),只是难点的地方爸爸拉扶一把, 下面是队友John的纪实相片，最后一张是路上我用手机拍的在trail上的这一家。

晚上5点多钟回到lone fir营地，每车一个营地，占好位置。小雨淅沥，我们手脚忙乱的搭上雨棚，支起帐篷，天色已渐黑。山友们陆续赶到，这时，茵姐和David大哥也从enhancement回来,和我们会合。晚上，美酒，篝火，欢笑, 把原本冷清的营地，变成了热闹的聚会大厅。晚上为茵姐祝生日同唱生日歌，把聚会推向了高潮...

第二天周日。鉴于前一天下雪，去往Hart's Pass的路太窄危险，我们把徒步路线由原来计划的Grasshopper pass/Windy Pass/Silver lake/scatter Lake改为车路好走的PCT.这是此行看金松最漂亮的一天。

因为PCT是长4279公里的TRAIL, 我们的原则是，大家不管快慢, 只要下午两点半开始往回返就好. 慢的，可以在路上慢走等候. Mike带快队，直奔Snowy Lake. Lulu与老公断后。我和John就成了中间的自由离子，逍遥自在的随意走着。

前面照旧以林中徒步为主。快到PCT与Cutthroat trail的分界处时，就开始在视野宽阔的山脊上行走。这天气是晴见多云，每每阳光灿烂时，总要忍不住驻足给金松再照一张。路过一女孩在太阳出来的霎那间，张开双臂，闭上眼睛，惬意地拥抱着这份短暂的炙热。蓝天白云下的金松格外诱人，我且走且珍惜着。山脊这一段路叫Granite Pass, 正如名字所言，向上看去,花岗岩形成的各具形态的巨石顶立. 向下看，是群山环绕的峡谷，远处高山英俊挺拔，湖水翠绿，近处，金松遍布山坡，白雪点缀。中间一小帅哥，驻足痴情远望，不知在想些什么，不经意间就绘入了这幅山水画。

这时我路过矗立在路边几乎垂直的一块巨石，正感慨，这是一种怎样一种让人感觉踏实的伟岸美，就听见背后有石头般，砸落的声音，心中一沉，何等人要来扔石害我，回头一看，原来是冰溜子融化落下。好悬，疾步走出这是非之地！正应了那句，人不可貌相，石不可斗量的话。下午天气是晴见少云，PCT，果然名副其实，每绕过一道弯，不同景色就展现在面前，绝不雷同，吸引着人们不断向前，转过一座又一座山，去探究下一幕...

首日10月7日的Blue Lake trail 即遇初雪，纷纷扬扬，陪伴我们始终。湖光山色在飞雪中少了俊秀，多了几分颓废迷离。
次日10月8日踏上了神往己久的Pacific Crest Trail。我们只走了一小段到Snowy Lake，来回约33公理，虽然天气阴晴不定，但己被层峦叠嶂的群峰所震撼,不知走完全程又有何感受?
最后一天10月9日在明媚的阳光中，如漫游画卷一般走完了15公理的Maple Pass Loop。沿途步移景异，深谷俏峰迭出，美湖俊岭不断。霜染红叶，青松葱郁，争相与金松斗艳。终于给这次经典的金松之旅画上了完满的句号。

堪比美景的还有lulu 精心筹划组织, 山友们一路的欢歌笑语，和无私互助，使我只菜鸟处处学习，且受益满满。自然，这次出行与我成了名副其实的 Thanksgiving 之旅。

第三天, 除lulu与老公肩负钓鱼重任直奔湖边以外，我们其他十人一起逆行走上了Maple Pass Loop。果然是赏秋经典路线，从开始到结束的11公里，秋色连绵，美景不断。前半程，走出不远，Lake Ann就开始陪伴我们，到顶后可以左边看lake ann, 右边看Rainy lake. 后半程，Rainy lake久久离不开我们视线！
