VOC Brew Hut Outhouse OUT OF COMMISSION

Hi to All,



You are receiving this email because you are registered to visit Brew Hut in the near future or just recently visited. We have recently received word that the outhouse at Brew is completely full and frozen and the VOC will not have the means to fix it until the “popsicle” has thawed in the summer. Until we can fix it we ask that anyone going to Brew Hut plan to bring poop bags. Please do not poop outside in the snow - The snow does not melt here until July and the poop does not decompose. Additionally, we get water by melting snow at the Hut and we do not want to have people getting sick from poop contamination.



The VOC is in the process of putting together a proposal to obtain some grants to help fund a more efficient outhouse system at Brew and in that process we have to submit letters of support from the community – if anyone here is interested in helping us out of this crappy situation by writing a brief letter of support for the VOC moving forward with outhouse improvements this summer we would greatly appreciate it!
