Howe Sound Crest Trail & Deeks Lake Trail closures (ZT)

Subject: Sea-to-Sky Highway Improvement Project - Notice of temporary closures/detours at the North end of the Howe Sound Crest Trail

To All Recreation Resource Users,

Due to construction work associated with the Sea-to-Sky Highway Improvement Project, access to the Deeks Lake Trail by way of the Howe Sound Crest Trail (HSCT) will be in effect on an intermittent basis from April 23 through May 31, 2007.

Hikers will be directed to an alternate route by field personnel stationed at the intersection of the HSCT and the Concorde Pacific Access Road. Please note, trail access will not be impacted during the May long weekend (May 19-21, 2007).
