We started around 12:30 on the hike and camped on a craig above Moore Point - about 17 km. into the hike. The next day we only had about 11 km. left so it was pretty leisurely.
The hike is really nice. There are constant views of the lake and the mountains. The scenery changes from desert scrub to North Cascade scenery. It is a bit different to other hikes because over the years just about all of the trees have been burned. It is quite interesting scenery. It is a perfect hike for this time of year because the flower show and the temperatures are best in the early spring.
