Did you know...
... that Metro Vancouver is the first region in Canada to provide transit customers with the opportunity to plan their trips on “Google Transit?”
Google Transit uses the same planning and scheduling data used by TransLink’s own Trip Planner to provide a detailed itinerary from one specific address or area to another.
User results include
both a Google map and explanatory text,
which includes connection times for buses, SkyTrain, and other transit modes on the TransLink system.
Google Transit even provides the user with an indication of when to walk between points, where necessary.
Everyone is welcome to try it at
www.google.ca/transit
...that there is a new user-friendly on-line tool to help motorists tackle traffic.
iMove provides a ‘one stop shopping’ approach to consolidating information on construction zones, motor vehicle crash sites, ferry and public transit schedules, cycling networks, and conditions at airports and the Port of Vancouver on a single, real-time web site.
