Less frequented than Garibaldi Lake in Garibaldi Provincial Park

Structure: Linear - Return
Elevation Gain: 920 m
Start Elevation: 820 m
Max Elevation: 1740 m

Directions
Same as Cheakamus Lake trail.

Drive North on Highway 99 from Squamish towards Whistler. Watch for the signage about 2.5 km South of Function Junction, turn right onto Cheakamus Lake Road. Take the left fork and drive 8.5 km to the trailhead.

Details
Start on the same trail to Cheakamus Lake. When you get to a fork at about 1 km, take the right fork that goes right toward the river, and follow it over the bridge and then up the other side for about 8 km. Here you will reach Helm Creek campground, where there are about 9 tent sites, pit toilets and food caches. This is a good camp to access various other hikes in the area. For the ambitious, this is the preferred approach to Gentian Ridge, Gentian Pass, Polemonium Ridge and Castle Towers.

Travel another 2 km to Helm Lake. Stunning views of Black Tusk.

一些注意事项：

需要CARPOOL的朋友准备两双鞋（一双是登山鞋），在开始Hiking前和结束后，换上干净的鞋，这样省去车主打扫车内卫生，谢谢！还可以再准备一双备用的袜子。爬完山，能让脚舒服一下也是种享受 .

防雨防风外套／雨具和保暖衣服！

1. 户外活动有风险，一切组织和活动属自愿，责任自负。
2. 一切计划会跟据当时天气, 环境作灵活变动, 队友应跟随整体行进, 不可单独行动。
3. 一定要三人一组结伴同行。每组备对讲机一部, 否则每组定要保持在视线范围之内。

告诉他，我们去的地方也有鱼，而且不用爬44km :lol:

Fishing Report: Cheakamus supports a Rainbow fishery with trout reaching into the 1+ lb. class. Dolly Varden char also inhabit the lake and are reported to grow to large sizes.

看来要两根老枪了，我这根留守了。我家娃子昨天预防针，今天白天好好的，结果晚上开始发烧了。我需要明天陪娃娃了。

这算高难度的了吧？谁组织点初级别的，最好好走的路，俺好背个熊回来。公园不让背阿。

难度一般吧，就是稍微长点。这条Trail在BlackTusk背后，景色不错。如果时间够，我们可能会绕到Chekamus Lake看一看。
