FEB 11-12 FLY TO MOSHI, TANZANIA
You arrive at around 9:30 p.m., and spend the first night at our Hotel in Moshi, the starting point.
FEB 13 MOSHI (2,773 ft.)

Today we meet our guides and have a detailed orientation about our climb. We also do an extensive “gear check”, to make sure you have everything you need.

FEB 14 LONDOROSSI GATE to MTI MKUBWA (9,163 ft.)
A three-hour drive from our Moshi Hotel brings us to the Londorossi Park Gate located on the western side of Kilimanjaro. At the gate we check in. We then drive to the
trailhead at Lemosho Glades and start our trek through the rain forest. In places the vegetation is so untouched that it grows right across the narrow track. The flora and
fauna are richer here than on the other more popular routes through the rain forest. In about 4 hours we reach our camp in the rain forest at Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree).

FEB 15 MTI MKUBWA to SHIRA ONE CAMP (11,520 ft.)
After breakfast, we start the climb cross the remaining rain forest towards the giant moorland zone. Today is a 6-7 hour trek with an altitude gain of 2,400 ft. After lunch, in
a beautiful valley just outside the Shira Crater, we cross into the Shira Caldera, a high altitude desert plateau which is rarely visited. Shira is the third of Kilimanjaro's
volcanic cones, and is filled with lava flow from Kibo Peak. The crater rim has been decimated by weather and volcanic action. Today you'll get your first close views of Kibo - the dramatic summit of Kilimanjaro.

FEB 16 SHIRA PLATEAU to MOIR CAMP (13,652 ft.)
After breakfast we continue our trek east across the Shira Plateau past the Shira Cathedral towards Moir camp.
The views of the plateau are nothing less than spectacular. It's about a 6 hour hike to camp. On the way we pass the
first of many Giant Senecios, some of Kilimanjaro's other-worldly massive plants. Moir Camp resembles an amphitheater as it sits below a massive lava flow.

FEB 17 MOIR HUT CAMP to LAVA TOWER (15,210 ft.)
In this Alpine Moorland Zone, the plants are extremely hardy, and consist of lichens, grasses, and heather among others. Today's hike is about 6-7 hours. We will have some
fun and take a non-technical scramble up to the top of the Lava Tower rock.

FEB 18 LAVA TOWER to KARANGA CAMP (13,229 ft.)
From Lava Tower, we are trekking mostly downhill today, around Kibo's spectacular south-facing glaciers. The view of the towering peak are spectacular. After descending
through the heather and lobelias to 12,800 ft., we climb the Barranco Wall, a massive "rock" 500 feet high. We then descend through the Karanga Valley to our camp up the
other side of the valley.

FEB 19 KARANGA CAMP to BARAFU (KOSOVO) CAMP (16,019 ft.)
The air starts getting quite thin, and you will be running short of breath. It's a tough, but a rewarding uphill climb to the rocky, craggy slopes at the camp. "Barafu" means,
"ice" in Swahili, and it is extremely cold at this altitude. We arrive here fairly early. This is an important part of our plan, as we need to hike up a thousand feet, so we can
acclimatize at around 16,000 ft. before we climb to the crater the next day.

FEB 20 BARAFU CAMP to CRATER CAMP (18,802 ft.)
Unlike most companies, who climb this route at night, we climb in the daylight. We slowly wind our way from Barafu for around 7 hours until we reach the edge of the
crater floor. You'll be running short of breath here, so we'll give you oxygen, if you need it. There might be snow along this part of the climb, and it's extremely cold, so we dress
warmly. The views of the Kibo saddle below Mawenzi Peak are what we came here for. We trek along the inner crater floor to our camp a thousand feet below the summit, and relax after our hard trek.

FEB 21 THE SUMMIT ! – MILLENIUM CAMP (19,340 ft. – 12,530 ft.)
We spend about 2 hours hiking up to Uhuru Peak, the summit. Euphoria, relief, ecstatic, powerful, are just a few words that describe what you're feeling at the top. After the
celebration, we head down to our last camp on the mountain, "high" in more ways than one. We hike down to Millennium Camp, (about 8 hours) and your lungs will thank
you as you as you breathe the oxygen-rich air. We enjoy a celebration meal, prepared by our cook at camp, and enjoy our last night on Kilimanjaro.

FEB 22 MILLENIUM CAMP to MWEKA GATE to MOSHI (2,773 ft.)
In the morning we have a four-hour walk down to the road, where we meet our vehicle, and drive a short way back to our hotel. A hot shower and a cold beer await you, before
you head off to a well deserved rest in a real bed.

FEB 23-24 FLY BACK HOME or CONTINUE ON A WILDLIFE SAFARI
Today we pack you off to the airport to catch your flight home, or you may opt to stay on for a Wildlife Safari in some of the best game viewing locations in the world.

COST AROUND CAD$7000

Northern Tanzania Wildlife Safari
6 Days/5 Nights
Lake Manyara Nat’l Park – Serengeti Nat’l Park
Ngorongoro Crater

FEB 23 LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, we load up our 4x4 safari vehicles, and
head off for our first day in the bush. Lake Manyara
National Park is very different from the other parks with
it’s diversity of habitats. It is home to the unusual treebound lions and the elusive forest primate, the blue
monkey, among many other creatures. The Lake
supports a large array of bird life, such as yellow-billed
storks, white-necked cormorants, pelicans, and Egyptian
geese. We overnight at the Luxury Camp or Safari
Lodge, on the edge of the scarp overlooking the Rift Valley. (All meals.)

FEB 24-26 SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
The sprawling Serengeti is the stage for the greatest animal migration on our planet. The Serengeti is home to black-maned lions, countless herds of wildebeest, antelope, zebra, giraffe, hippo, leopard, cheetah, buffalo and elephant. On our early morning and late afternoon game
drives you discover how each creature, from the tiniest termite to the largest elephant, are all interdependent in nature’s great cycles of life. We will be staying for 3 nights at either a Safari Lodge, or in our own Luxury Camp, depending on the availability of accommodation. Both sites are located in the midst of the migration. The timing of our visit is crucial, as this is calving season for most of the millions of wildebeest. Consequently there is lots of wildlife activity here. (All meals).

FEB 27 NGORONGORO CRATER The awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater is a 110 square-mile volcanic caldera, which collapsed two million years ago. It is encircled by 2000-ft., sheer walls. We drive down the narrow track to the crater floor, now a lush verdant paradise. The crater
swarms with 30,000 head of wild game, stalked by great prides of lion, jackal, hyena and leopard. Ngorongoro is one of the few places left on earth where you can see the almost extinct black rhinos in their natural habitat. We overnight at a Safari Lodge, or in our own Luxury Camp (All
meals).

FEB 28-MAR 1 NGORONGORO CRATER / FLY HOME
We head out for our last game drive down in the crater. Around lunchtime, we start heading back to Arusha, where you will be able to shop for some souvenirs for all of
your envious friends and family at home. After picking up your stored climbing gear in Arusha, we start our drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport, to get you on your flight back home.

费用是分期付完的。

BOOKING CONDITIONS: We keep our group sizes small, and our trips usually book up 8-12 months in advance, so it’s wise to book with us as soon as possible. Complete the
application and submit it to Tusker Trail, along with your deposit. You may pay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) or Check. We'll then send you a detailed pre-departure info packet. It tells you everything you'll need to know about preparing for your trip and then some. If we can't offer you a place, we'll return your deposit within 14 days. Upon booking, your initial deposit of $500 per person is required. 4 months before departure, on the first day of that month, your second deposit of $700 is due. 2 months before departure,
on the first day of that month, your final payment is due. If we haven't received your payment, and no special arrangements have been made, we will assume you have canceled, and will fill your place from our waiting list. If someone else is paying for your trip, you (the traveler) are responsible for payments, cancellations and/or itinerary changes. Airfare payments are handled separately.

This is why we strongly recommend that you buy trip cancellation insurance. Tusker Trail & Safari Co. reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason, including logistical problems or medical concerns that may restrict trip operations or safety. In the event we must cancel a trip we will refund you all money paid to us for the land cost. This refund shall release Tusker Trail & Safari Co. from any further liability. Since there is only one spot left and you want to go, you should not invite anyone to join you

Alternatively, there is a plan of 20-day drive from Xian, Shaanxi Province to Ali, Tibet. The cost is only $1,000 per person and you don't have to raise any money for any cause. Ali is a place much much more remote and legendary than Kalimanjaro. Would you join me/us?

Googoo!

Gard's Kilimanjaro experience

现在多一分准备,将来就多一分把握。:)
