Driving distance: total 500km round trip including some FSR drving, need 4X4 with high clearence

參加者基本要求：
***團隊精神 - 共進共退，友爱互助。
***义工组织活动费时费心，希望报名参加的朋友们有空也能在北美户外分享一些相关点滴图文, 有take有give有share.

責任與備註:
1. 戶外活動有風險，一切組織和活動屬自願，責任自負。

2. 一切計劃會跟據當時天氣, 環境作靈活變動, 隊友應跟隨整體行進, 不可單獨行動。

3. 一定要三人一組結伴同行。每組備對講機一部, 否則每組定要保持在視線範圍之內。

司機注意: 如閣下持有Novice牌(Class 7), 除非在一名年滿25歲持有Class 1 - 5的人仕陪同, 否則只可接載一名乘客, 也一定是掛上"N"字標誌。請參閱 ICBC網站

對講機頻道：6-6（6主频道，6子频道）

必备装备：
1> lunch & snacks
2> 防水Hiking boots+microspikes+雪鞋
3> 2升水 (bring some hot drink in Thermos)
4> 2對手套+hat
5> quick dry base layer 和一套御寒保暖衣服(e.g. fleece/down jacket)
6> 防雨防风外套
7> 头灯/手电筒
8> Day hiking背包及rain cover
9> 防晒霜
10>墨鏡
11> Gaiters,防雪防湿鞋湿裤又能防脏
12> 哨子
13> 登山杖 +snow basket
14> 雨具

一些注意事项：

需要CARPOOL的朋友准备两双鞋（一双是登山鞋），在开始Hiking前和结束后，换上干净的鞋，这样省去车主打扫车内卫生，谢谢！还可以再准备一双备用的袜子。爬完山，能让脚舒服一下也是种享受 .

一些要请各位队友注意的事项:

***早上集合时请不要迟到，可以早到五分钟，过时不候***
***结伴同行/相互关照，一定不要落单，请每人各自做好做足功课***
***在Ridge停留会冷，要带上一件防风防寒的衣服备用***

开车路线：

Drive north from Hope on Highway 5 (Coquihalla Highway) to the Juliet Creek exit (#238). On the west side of the highway, turn left and follow the road until it transitions to gravel. Reset your odometer here.

Continue on the forest service road to the 3.8 km mark, where it forks immediately after a bridge and cattle guard. Take the left fork. There are a few waterbars across the road, but a vehicle with good clearance shouldn't have a problem. The road forks again at the 7.3 km mark - take the left fork again. Continue until the road ends at a "Forest Service Trail" sign just below 1500 meters in elevation. Park here.

#238出口下，需要4x4 with high clearance, logging road 不是很差，有几个water bars. 加上各种breaks来回5-6小时就够了。... 整体来说，it is well marked till the lake.从湖那里的一个右面的缓坡上去，再左转，一直走下去。

Was up at July Mountain two weekends back. The fsr is pretty good actually up until the last 2k where you will need a 4 wheel drive or a high clearance truck at the very least to clear two larger waterbars. No alder bashing what so ever. Was cleared a year or so ago. You could always walk the extra 2k. Wouldn't take long. The forecast for the area of Brookmere which isn't to far off is for 6 hours of sun according to the weather network but last weekend they said 8 hours so we attempted Yak and found strong winds, cold temperatures, a little rain and snow with no visibility. At least until we got back to the vehicles when it of course cleared up around 3pm.  Sooo you never know what your going to get in the Coquihalla area. Very variable there this time of year.
