Tide and Route description, tide table
Tide and Route Description from Rialto Beach to Cedar Camp for Saturday(April,7)
All distances are from Rialto Beach
+0.0km Rialto Beach
+2.3km - +2.5km(Caution: 5 ft tide) Hole in the wall Area, overland trail available(when hi tide approaches, use the overland trails to cross the points, rather than going around the nose of the point.)
+4.1km Caution Area(Caution: 5 ft tide), no overland trail available
+6km Chilean Memorial(from this Memorial, we must scramble around the cliffs and rocks of Cape Johnson, a task that requires a low 4ft tide), no overland trail available
+7.1km Cape Johnson(Caution: 4 ft tide) , no overland trail available
+8.4km Caution Area(Caution: 5 1/2 ft tide), no overland trail available
+10.7km Impassible dangerous point, overland trail available(at the north end of pebbly beach is a bulbous-shaped headland where cliffs prevent a rounding at any tide, there is short, well-marked trail over the narrow neck of the headland providing access to the next beach)
+12.1km – 12.4km Caution Area(Caution: 4 ft tide), overland trail available
+14.2km Cedar Camp
I checked all online tide tables, they only give the lowest tide/highest tide info,so I kind of just figured out the difference between high and low tide in feet and divided by the number of hours between the high and low tide and that is roughly my hourly tide.
