After having climbed Slalok (2,653m), Baker (3,286m), Rainier (4,392m), and Rethel (2,408m) mountains, Matier (2,783m) is her fifth's alpine summit in only six months! Cool! 8)
"What was your best part of the trip?" I asked the crew. "Walking on that ridge", "Climbing down that steep slope" they said. For me it was watching great people, one of them went straight climbing after having worked 40 hours in 3 days (yes, that's five shifts, one of them a night shift!). Another one just recently returned from climbing trip to Nepal (lot's of stories!). And of course, the fantastic weather and Keith's hut that was all for only four of us. 8)
