2014-DEC-2,3 * Mount Matier (2,783 m) - winter ascent

Climbed to the top of Mt. Matier (2,783 m) in absolute (winter) conditions. Stayed in the Keith's hut, with no other people around (rare!). Super trip forever to remember. 8)

Mt Matier as seen from Duffey Lake Road. We crossed Anniversary Glacier from Motel 66 and then climbed on the "sunny" part on the photo. 8)

Entering Anniversary Glacier, time to rope up. It's reasonably chilly, and that's what we like, the snow hopefully will remain firm and stable.
