http://www.parkreports.com/fall/index.php

Ontario Fall Colour Progressing Report
http://www.400eleven.com/colour-progressing-report.html

Great Fall Drives
http://www.ontariotravel.net/TCISSegmentsWeb/gc/FD?language=en

That sounds interesting. Never take those routes before. After the 160KM Niagara Toronto trip, 120Km seemed easy. Last Saturday biked 110km in 4hr10min to Simcoe lake.Considering the frenquent up&down hill and strong South Wind that day. Not too bad. I could join the autumn maple sightseeing bike tour if it can be organized. However, I may prefer a strictly one day trip.

Rolia

-when_where_togo(明天去哪里?); 21:35 (#5583737@0)”

70km loop?

From Ontario Fall Color Report:

"Good Places for viewing : Peak Colours are now here! Now is the time to come! Check out these areas for some great views, West Gate, Algonquin Art Centre, Two Rivers Picnic Ground and Beach, Visitor Centre Deck, Brewer Lake or take in a paddle in the Algonquin Backcountry. Take a hike on some of these trails, Hardwood Lookout, Track and Tower, Centennial Ridges, Booth's Rock and Lookout Trail for some excellent photos! Or enjoy a ride down these side roads, Arowhon Road, Source Lake Road, Centennial Ridges Road, Rock Lake Road and the Opeongo Lake Road...."

I am checking the map for a reasonable road...

park at Oxtongue River Picknic Ground at HWY 60.
Cycling eastwards. The first top will be smoke lake where we can survey the lake we visited last spring (8Km).
The next stop can be Cache Lake (7Km)
Then Killarney Lodgy and Lake of Two Rivers picknic ground (8Km)
We can take a short side road towards Whitefish Group Campground (1km one way) and continue go east to Centenial Ridges which is a gravel road. That will lead us to Rock Lake Camping Ground (8Km one way).

We should turn to vistor center (3Km) and
Back out to HWY 60 and go east for another 2Km, there is the Opeongo road on the left.  We will make this as a turn point.

And take the Opeongo road to the bigest lake in Algonquin (4Km one way).
After return back to HWY 60, go west to Kearney Lake Campground (10Km)
Then Canisbay Campingground(10KM + 1kM gravel road)
Now we are going to famous Canoe Lake 7Km.
Make another short stop at Tea Lake dam picknic ground (5Km)
and back to Oxtongue River picnic ground (5Km)

Total distance of the trip should be about 100-120Km including 25Km gravel road.

If gravel road is no good for cycling, we can go a bit further east to Algonquin Museum at the east gate. Which will add another 15Km to the trip.

The road will have up and down hills, and challenge gravel roads. But with many stops and senery, we can make it.

Mountain bike or hybrid are recommended. Please bring spare tire and repair kit.
