雨乐--Gambier Island

温哥华的雨是有些脑人，总喜欢周末而至，似乎就是喜欢与人过不去。这不，说去的10人，周六出发时只有七人；临上船时，只有6人。
说说笑笑中登了船，偶尔一瞥，看到临时不去的Paul，还趴在岸上看着我们，依依不舍。于是想着那些因雨作罢的人，估计在家里对雨作叹，是不是也和他一样的心情？

整日的雨总是浠浠沥沥下个不停，从踏上岸起步开始，一直跟着我们翻山越岭，于是一路上希望这老天如天气预报所说在晚上能停止。
沉寂一季的雨林，一切都在静静绽放，即使倒在地上的朽木，也爬满了青苔；有些地方真象电影阿凡达那个潘多拉星球，绿得养眼，即使在这光线不好的雨天，也灼灼生辉；地上的厚厚植物，柔软得象层毯。在这样雨天，在这湿漉漉的雨林里，自然也有穿行的乐趣。

踏在泥水里，背着行囊，在横到在路上的大树下匍伏前行，一切都是乐趣。

LOL that certainly doesn't look like I was smiling :oops: :wink: . I think I was trying to squint my eyes to see you Naxi when you took that picture. Sorry I couldn't go everybody. Had a minor problem when I lifted my pack out of the car at the parking lot. I saw everyone chatting and smiling on the boat so I was a bit dissappointed not to go :? but that is ok. I will be able to go soon, both in the rain and the sunshine. :wink: :)

I hope I was smiling when I waved goodbye :D

不算太费劲，到达营地。冒雨扎营，然后在雨中升起篝火，站在雨中烤火，有点象围着火炉吃西瓜，不过感觉有点相反。

We are thinking about doing it for WCT backpack training this weekend. Is it possible to do this trip for day-hiking? :?:

I guess the time will be pretty tight, as the last ferry from New Brighton to Langdale is 6:30pm...

不太建议，特别对新同学来说太赶了,我们第一天下午二点左右到的营地，第二天下山的路我们这六个体力不错的也走了三个小时左右.

解释一下图中营火用的少许好的树枝树叶以免大家误会，那是队友折的trail上少许的overgrown遮挡住trail的树枝枝叶，我们基本用是坏死的树的树皮，枯树枝和枯树根。 :lol:

Thanks Lulu! I think what we will do is to bring all our gears and decide when we arrive at the campsite. :lol:

如何在雨中生火，出发前领导就一直担心这个问题，她那知道队伍中混着那些自称打小玩火长大的人。于是扎营后，有几人一直围着一棵已老朽得就即将变成泥的枯树上窜下踢，只有这些坏死的枯树皮才能燃着火（新鲜的树叶是掉在地上的，谁干的？估计大风经常干这事.）

在这雨天，鱼儿都是偶尔在湖的中央冒个泡，逗我们玩着，让我们叹着，就是不让我们碰着。于是我们在雨中，烤着火，在湿了又干、干了又湿中，看着雨落下时在湖面溅起的无数圆圈，只能想象着能不能大鱼小鱼落玉盘。
