2010年7月24日的Mount Rexford Trail---全路形的Trail

7月24日，在Camony的召集下，走了一圈Mount Rexford Trail，参与者有：Alex，Camony，纳西，Wanghui，Ops，Popcorn，00，Shuk，Julius。
   此条Trail的难度系数是30.1%，确实是名至实归，路形多样，坡度较陡。主要路形有：矮灌木丛加较陡土路，普通森林加粗路面，裸露的沙土陡坡，大块落石群，雪地。几乎所有可能遇到的路面都在其中，而且路面宽度较窄，平均在0.5-0.8米之间。整条路陡坡较多，上坡耗体力，下坡更需谨慎。

   24日6：30在老地方集合后上1号高速，到Chilliwack用时60分钟，在Tim Horton吃完早餐后沿路线走到Park 1。注意点有2点：A。River Forest Service Recreation Site入口很小，不注意很容易错过，所以从Chilliwack过来时走过28-29公里后，注意右手。 B。进入Receation Site后，保持右道行驶，就可到达Park 1。
   进发到Park 2后，注意在左手有一条分叉路，宽约1.2--1.5米，那就是Trail的起点了。

这是开始较为平坦的路，千万不要认为一路如此，在我记忆中似乎只走了400-500米这样的路，就再也没见过这么舒服的Trail道了。

I would like to thank Camony and Alex for organizing this “Rexford Grind” trip. If not were you, most of us may not have the opportunity to experience this special trail.

虽然路况有点差，但是今天天气确实帮忙：有太阳，但不是很热，所以即使走在有时需要爬行的路上感觉还是不错的，更何况还是才开始爬，九个人连走带爬，一溜烟的走过这段低灌木丛路。
这张就是这段基本路况图（初次加入，怕影响速度耽误别人，就没带相机，手机拍的图片凑合看看了）。

看图和看介绍好像都是往返6公里，但是好像走下来不止这么一点，似乎有10几公里，很疑惑。因为00兄走得很快，但他总是照顾到大部队。其他人如Camony,Alex也绝对是Hiking的个中好手，4小时走3.5公里？似乎不太对。

先上傳數據解答大家心中的疑問.

紀錄由trail head到假頂來回走了7.8km (減省了一些誤差也有走7.3km),
拔高1105米, 在3.65km內上升近1100米確是和GG有得比較.

Here is the query before Camony's 3D diagrams are posted:

" According to the Mount Rexford Trail trip in 103 Hikes, TH level is at 850m and the high point is 1860m with an elevation gain 990m. The objective is “the open rocky shoulder beneath Mt Rexford’s west ridge: a boulder-strewn heather meadow with a gorgeous aspect”. In retrospect, I think this means the snow-covered basin which we traversed and then went up to a hilltop. This basin seems to correspond to the destination 103 described. It talks about the piece of heather meadows (1860m) west of Mt Rexford summit (2329m). The hilltop we took a rest is at about 1960m high as measured by my altimeter. One more point, is the “Lion Rock” Nesakwatch Spires (2218m) rather than the actual Mt Rexford? "

It seems that the destination described in 103 Hikes is the place between the blue flag and Mt Rexford. Many thanks to Camony for your detailed data.
