攀岩挺好玩的，很有成就感。我曾经去上了一个intro的课，结果手腕上不小心擦伤一块皮，现在还有个疤呢，呵呵。
我觉得要经常去爬才有进步，我太懒啦，上课以后才去了几次就不行了。

Climbing is not necessary safer than hiking. This  can tell you climbing is dangerous, and fatality happens almost(?) every year (no statistics, but seems like that from what I heard). On the other hand, we also heard about stories of hikers got lost/being rescued, etc. The most important thing is to know what you are doing, turn back if necessary. And you do need to take some risks in both activities, just evaluate what kind of risks that you are willing to take.
