说一个Broadway上的正在打折的户外店(MEC对面,223 West Broadway).

说是他家工厂就在温哥华，他家卖的硬壳(hardshell)大家就不要看了，不适合我们hiking(重又是coating的,透气性不会好涂层也易坏)。他家软壳(softshell)也不用看了，原价标得过高，所以既便打折，价格也不够低，而且这种不是Gore-Tex Softshell等好材料的软壳对我们这里多雨多湿的气候也不太适合

不过看他家其它的不少东西挺实惠的。比如：

能否给我推荐一款滑雪的裤子，防水性能好，价格不要太贵，原价在200元左右，又有可能经常打折的。

滑雪的裤子太费，不是破了就是漏水。鸟衣BOXING DAY是不是能降价呀，还是信赖这个牌子，如果可能，还是来条鸟裤为好，宁可贵一点，那么选哪一款呢？

价格如果都差不多的话还是信赖鸟衣，现在我除了裤子以外全家里外各季都换成鸟系列了。觉得裤子只能用来滑雪，太肥了。

还是等鸟衣打折吧。你说的99那条好像只有女款的，有男的吗？能到这个价已经不错了。

Hi Laoyu,
Typically most important item for ski pants is to get re-inforced seat and knee areas because most abrasion occurs there due to falls and causes leaks. I find the seat and knees leak the most due to falls or abrasion from ice on chairlift seats . Next option is to get Bib pant version if possible with easy access. :wink: Helps to keep snow out and back warm.

waterproof and breathable. If the 40% coupon applies then maybe good deal

Maybe the Arcteryx sale could have Waterproof softshell Bib pants or regular pant. Arcteryx waterproof softshell material looks to be the best I've seen for abrasion resistance.

Value wise, if you can't find a good arcteryx garment, this pant meets all the specs a skier needs and is worth the money. Reinforced rear, knees and ankles, emergency access zipper :wink: , and Gortex Pro laminated woven material for better durability. I have been looking at these for myself for this year. $260.00

I am not familiar with Climate products.

Another straggling for survival outdoor shop near mec. All of them are going to dying . However I hope they can be there so keeping a little pressure to mec although I will never shoot money on them simply the quality of goods  and customer service .
