[召集]週日3月6往 Dakota Ridge xc-skiing

週日天氣好像比週六好一點.
決定週日去Dakota Ridge越野滑雪 (cross country skiing)

1. Dakota Ridge (Sunshine Coast) 離島, 新地方,有點新意思.
--好天氣才到這裡, 要觀望多數天--

2. Whistler Lost Lake 享受豪華木屋為主
3. Cypress 練習為主
4. Olympic Park 長途消耗體力為主.

滑雪隊員有何意見?

天气不好，去lost lake lost一次。

正式召集

週日3月6 到Dakota Ridge cross country skiing
詳盡資晚上發放.
基本上早上去,坐7:20am船, 回程6:30pm船.

(進入雪崩資料中心,看離島雪崩資料,全是considerable
基本上cross country skiing在resort玩是最安全不過,
只是貪玩看看預告, 不過也有小小責任心喇. :lol: :lol: )

星期六天气预报也很好啊，能不能安排在星期六呢？如果多数倾向于星期天我服从多数。

週六Dakota有雪鞋跑步比賽，會佔用一部份滑雪道，加上停車場問題，
只能選擇週曰。

忘記說，Dakota是沒有租賃雪用具的服務，
須要自備滑雪用具。

坐7:20am Horseshoe Bay去Langdale的ferry

參加者基本要求：
要具有Skate skiing或Classic Skiing的基本技巧
團隊精神 - 共進共退，友爱互助。

責任與備註:
1. 戶外活動有風險，一切組織和活動屬自願，責任自負。

2. 一切計劃會跟據當時天氣, 環境作靈活變動, 隊友應跟隨整體行進, 不可單獨行動。

司機注意: 如閣下持有Novice牌(Class 7), 除非在一名年滿25歲持有Class 1 - 5的人仕陪同, 否則只可接載一名乘客, 也一定是掛上"N"字標誌。請參閱 ICBC網站

必需裝備：
Skate / Classic skis, boots, ski poles

其他物品:
1> lunch & snacks
2> 1.5L水
3> 手套, hat
4> quick dry base layer 和保暖衣服(e.g. fleece jacket)
5> 防雨防风外套, 褲子
6> 墨鏡
7> 防晒霜, 紫外线反射很厉害
8> 頭燈

雙程駕駛距離: 100km, excluding ferry
車主付Vehicle Ferry Fare $42.35 & each passenger ferry fare $12.60。
會乘6:30pm輪渡回Horseshoe Bay

Carpool費用：
$35 - 以四人一車計算
$40 - 以三人一車計算

Driving direction from Langdale Ferry Terminal to Dakota Ridge

1. From terminal travel straight up the 'Bypass' hill
2. Turn left onto Stewart Rd at the top of the hill
3. Turn right onto North Rd at the first intersection
4. Turn right onto Hwy 101 at the first set of lights
5. Continue 15.5 km
6. Turn right at the traffic lights at Field Rd
7. Continue 1.5km to the end of Field Rd
8. Turn right onto gravel forest service road
9. Travel 14km to parking area.

Camony if I can get the day off to go, would that disrupt your vehicle plans and or could I tae my car? What are road conditions like (Chains or 4x4)? I can check the website but let me know first if it is convenient? Call me if you want.

If you go, we can split the group into 2 vehicles.
According to the website, it strongly suggests winter tires & chains are required.
We can ferry in case the other car can't make it.

Snow man also plows that road, you may check with him.
