Rubble Creek / Lost Lake - Just a beautiful peaceful day

Camony asked me to come up with a funny title for our trip, but all I could think of this time was that it was a beautiful peaceful day. A day where you could forget everything, enjoy living, think of moving on and have a simple joyful life. I think that's what Zhiyong Lai (Leo) would want all of us to do.

We skied up Rubble creek in beautiful sunshine and placed more fresh flowers on the memorial. Some of the flowers from Lulu's Group were beautifully frozen in time; their colours radiating life from beyond. Rays of sunshine broke through the trees like a Jakob's Ladder.

Daisy and I decided to walk back to the truck while Robin and Camony bravely skied down the icy road. We then went to Lost lake to enjoy a beautiful day of skiing. We had lunch at the warming hut and skied the upper fairway trail. After a short break we skied around the lake and I took a nap while Camony, Robin, and Daisy went for a second lap.

A number of the pictures have not turned out due to contrast problems so I have some editing to do. Hopefully in the future I will add them as soon as I can. Hopefully Camony  and Daisy have more to add for the time being.
