Amazingly Simple is the best way to describe how to get going with Google Voice on your OBi.  Just add your Gmail credential to the OBi and start making calls!

What You Need:
1.  The OBi100 or OBi110 device – Get it here.  
2.  Gmail username & password – If you do not have this already, get it here.
3.  A Telephone –  Make A Google Voice call using your everyday phone – no need to be at your computer.

Set-Up:
1.  Sign-in to your Gmail account and make a call from your PC to a regular phone number using the Gmail “Call Phones” feature.  If you have already done this before, you can skip this.
2.  Connect the OBi to a broadband connection via your Internet router.
3.  Use one of our configuration wizards to set-up the OBi with your Gmail username + password credential.
- At the OBiTALK web portal using the OBi Device Configuration utility:  www.obitalk.com
4.  This step requires you have previously set up a Google Voice phone number at www.google.com/voice
- Sign-in to Google Voice.
- Select the "Settings" link in the upper left corner of the window and then choose "Voice Settings."
- Select the "Phones" tab and check the box next to the "Forwards to: Google Chat."
- The selection will automatically be saved and you can now sign out of Google Voice.
5.  Then Start Making and Receiving Calls with Google Voice!

在加拿大还是没法用google voice, 没法拿到美国电话号码。我不知道如果我去趟美国，是否就可以申请到个美国号码，再拿回加拿大用。

昨天我跑到美国，终于申请到个号码，还是用了我妹妹在美国的手机。回来我要登陆googel voice, 还是说不行，在你的国家，google voice 不能用，气死我了。
