看CT上人说已经差不多几乎大概没有雪了。
I was out to Elsay for Saturday night. Trail is actually clear of snow except for a handful of steps down the first drop from the Seymour trail, and of course the big snow-fields that collect across the talus. Those sometimes last the summer, and this year for sure! Few patches hanging around Canadian Pass, another week for them. Helps to know the route, though.
Carried ax and crampons, no need for them.
(Trail is)mostly snow-free.
There are some big fields to cross on the talus under Seymour, but they are not very steep. The potentially quite dangerous steep descents down from the turn-off are clear.
Watch out getting on and off the remaining snow, and thin spots around melting out boulders, avoid them. Boots recommended, pole nice, crampons and ax not needed. That's as of Aug 28. |
