[召集]本周六的雪鞋day hiking--Ford Mountain(1月14日)

集合时间地点:本周六1月14日, 7:15am, Safeway Parking Lot on East Broadway & Commercial, next to sky train station.

參加者基本要求：
團隊精神 - 共進共退，友爱互助。

責任與備註:
1. 戶外活動有風險，一切組織和活動屬自願，責任自負。

2. 一切計劃會跟據當時天氣, 環境作靈活變動, 隊友應跟隨整體行進, 不可單獨行動。

3. 一定要三人一組結伴同行。每組備對講機一部, 否則每組定要保持在視線範圍之內。

司機注意: 如閣下持有Novice牌(Class 7), 除非在一名年滿25歲持有Class 1 - 5的人仕陪同, 否則只可接載一名乘客, 也一定是掛上"N"字標誌。請參閱 ICBC網站

對講機頻道：6-6（6主频道，6子频道）

必备装备：
1> lunch & snacks
2> 防水Hiking boots +Gaiter+SnowShoes
3> 2升水 (请带些热水)
4> 一對手套+hat
5> quick dry base layer 和一套御寒保暖衣服(e.g. fleece/down jacket)
6> 防雨防风外套
7> 头灯/手电筒
8> Day hiking背包及rain cover
9> 防晒霜
10>墨鏡
11> Gaiters,防雪防湿鞋湿裤又能防脏
12> 哨子
13> 登山杖
14> 雨具

一些注意事项：

需要CARPOOL的朋友准备两双鞋（一双是登山鞋），在开始Hiking前和结束后，换上干净的鞋，这样省去车主打扫车内卫生，谢谢！还可以再准备一双备用的袜子。爬完山，能让脚舒服一下也是种享受 .

手套很有用，保暖防寒，要防水／快干的。

Ford Mountain:

(8 km W of Post Creek). (5 km N of Mount Pierce). Map: 092.H.04

A low peaklet or bump at the western end of the divide between Foley Creek and Chilliwack River, a few kilometers west of Williams Peak. A logging road runs almost to the summit of Ford Mountain, a short hike from the end of the road brings one to a concrete pad which was the site of an old fire lookout. Great views of the Chilliwack River peaks (Rexford, Slesse etc.) and the Cheam Range. A somewhat poorly maintained hiking trail runs east from the peak along the ridge and joins up with the Williams Peak trail.

两个集合地点：
1。Broadway天车站旁的Safeway停车场 (7:15am)
2。Chillwack的Tim Hortons (8:30pm)
会合小歇五到十分钟（不会多停留），但建议大家事先吃好早饭

Chillwack的Tim Hortons address: 7670 Vedder Road, Sardis, V2R 4G9

Driving directions:
1. From Hwy 1 take exit 119, turn right towards Sardis.
2. You are on Vedder Road.
3. Left turn onto Luckakuck Way。

除Morgan带上从Richmond出发的队友在Chillwack的Tim Hortons (8:15pm)会合，请其它司机和队友在Safeway集合，以便安排carpool，谢谢。

Welcome! The meeting place is Safeway Parking lot unless we can find a driver and 2-3 passengers can carpool from kingsway location and then meet the rest of us @ Chiliwack Tim Hortons.

住在Burnaby，可能周五晚上还要上班，工作地点在downtown，正在尝试和同事换班，如果没换成班，周六早上下班直接去Safeway。
