十一月份的半马---2012 Fall Classic HALF MARATHON

我已报名参加十一月份的半程马拉松,有同学有兴趣同跑吗?

这个十一月份的半马,我不设目标,也不定时间,有经历就好了。

现在要尽量做到每周三次的中午跑,八月份后增加里程数(每周增加的距离不要超过10%),加量两周后减量休息一周。。。。

Coho 2012 Run

The Coho Society
This incredible point to point 14 km journey starts from Kitsilano Beach, takes you past the Maritime Museum and the Pacific Space Centre along the seawall, then over the Burrard Street Bridge along the English Bay seawall to Second Beach in Stanley Park, and finally, over the Lion’s Gate Bridge and into Ambleside Beach Park to the birthplace of the North Shore Coho salmon.

The 14K distance provides a great challenge for the 10K runner and a fabulous training run for the half marathon trainer.

Here is my training plan for Coho Run in Sept. I will add a long run once per week after work to my running schedule, is there anyone here join me?


Week 1 (this week) – 60 minutes
Week 2 – 70 minutes
Week 3 – 75 minutes
Week 4 – 60 minutes
Week 5 – 75 minutes
Week 6 – 80 minutes
Week 7 – my long run will be the 14k

I am doing lunch runs with my trainer as well---3 times per week, but those lunch runs are shorter because I am restricted on time and I want to concentrate on speed and strength (that means hills and speed training)....
