Mt. Baker Area Road condition updateds

got an email from our friend Lam informing us that  the section of Road31 after Douglas Fir Campground is currently not in use...Thank you, Lam!

Hi Lulu,

I am Lam, the one who come with George Hon and Angelbella.

Recently, I was advised by the staff of theGlacier Public Service Centre that the section of Road31 after Douglas Fir Campground is currently not in use because of some washout and they are waiting for funds for the repair. This may post some difficuty in accessing to the Damfino Lakes from the west. Going up to the Lakes by way of Trail630 should be OK.

The most current road condition can be obtained on the hiking day morning while passing by the Glacier Public Service Centre.
