活动召集（下周六,12/01/2012)雪鞋爬Mt. Seymour第一峰

集合时间定为周六上午八点,

集合地点:
Broadway & Commercial 靠天车站的safeway停车场 (1780 East Broadway, Vancouver, BC, Canada)

Carpool费用: $5

參加者基本要求：
團隊精神 - 共進共退，友爱互助。

責任與備註:
1. 戶外活動有風險，一切組織和活動屬自願，責任自負。

2. 一切計劃會跟據當時天氣, 環境作靈活變動, 隊友應跟隨整體行進, 不可單獨行動。

3. 一定要三人一組結伴同行。每組備對講機一部, 否則每組定要保持在視線範圍之內。

司機注意: 如閣下持有Novice牌(Class 7), 除非在一名年滿25歲持有Class 1 - 5的人仕陪同, 否則只可接載一名乘客, 也一定是掛上"N"字標誌。請參閱 ICBC網站

對講機頻道：6-6（6主频道，6子频道）

必备装备：
1> lunch & snacks
2> 防水Hiking boots +雪鞋
3> 1升水 (better to bring some hot water in the themos)
4> 一對手套, hat
5> quick dry base layer 和一套御寒保暖衣服(e.g. fleece/down jacket)
6> 防雨防风外套
7> 头灯/手电筒
8> Day hiking背包及rain cover
9> 防晒霜
10>墨鏡
11> Gaiters,防雪防湿鞋湿裤又能防脏
12> 哨子
13> 登山杖

No problem, u can rent a pair of snowshoes from Mec , pick up Friday afternoon and return Sunday before noon, still one day rental, ~$12

LULU，我查了一下资料，这条路正常速度是5个小时，看来我不能跟你们去，按我的速度起码走7个小时，这会害死你们。我还是先试试在下面走几段短的，速度提高了再跟大部队走吧。

No problem, we will divide into 2 groups, i will be with u, faster hikers can go ahead and hike more or go home earlier (in a group with second lead). i'd like to introduce the local trails to our new hikers-:)

Mt Seymour Resort Winter Parking Designations
Winter parking designations for Mt Seymour Resort and backcounty users.

Within Mount Seymour Provincial Park, Mt. Seymour Resorts Ltd. operates a Controlled Recreation Area (CRA), comprising of the ski area and parking lots, under Park Use Permit 1505. This CRA occupies 80 out of 3,500 hectares (approximately 2%) of park land.

Winter visitors (Nov to Apr) who are not using the CRA but wish to enjoy the backcountry have access to Dog Mountain, First Lake Trail and the Mt. Seymour Main Trail and are required to park in parking lots 1 and 5. Overnight parking is permitted in parking lot 1 and in the designated area of parking lot 2.

Visitors using the CRA are required to have a valid area pass and can park in parking lots 2, 3, 4 and 5.
