MEC Bikefest

Hot on the heels of Bike to Work Week is MEC's annual Bikefest. There are two
events in the Vancouver area: this weekend (8/9 June) sees the event take place
in North Van; next weekend will be Vancouver's turn (15 Jun only). Check out
bike maintenance clinics, riding clinics, the bike swap, and talks on
introductory cycle touring plus a guide to cycling the Sunshine Coast.

Note these events are *not* held at the stores: in North Van, the location is
the Inter River Park (on Lillooet Road, near Capilano University), while in
Vancouver, the Athlete's Village area in False Creek will play host.

As an added incentive, there will be a Bikefest Club Night (like the Wanderung
one a few weeks ago) on Tuesday 18th June where Bikefest attendees will get 10%
off regular-priced gear. Pick up a Club Night card from the MEC booth (Vancouver
only by the look of it).
