Hi, Mr Pan,

I already backpacked to the elfin lake with lulu last week, and she said I definitely can go with u....

We spent 3hours 15 minutes from the parking lot to elfin lake.......

Could u put me in the waiting list this time?

TRIP UPDATE:

1) Weather forecast right now is looking good, but it will change as it is typical for this time of year.

2) There will be a severe traffic impact caused by "RBC GranFondo Cycling Event"

Weather forecast for Saturday: 6mm of rain, POP 57%, which exceeds our safety level.  8)

I checked the details of the traffic impact. Lions gate nouthbound will be closed 6:00 am to 10:00 am. We will have to use 2nd's narrow bridge. Also, the speed limit on Hwy 99 will be reduced to 60 km. I suggest that we leave early and allow 2 hour delay on the road. Hopefully, we can arrive at the trail head by 11:00 am and then arrive at the hut at 3:00 am. We should still have plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings.
