Day 1 - Hike in via Singing Pass, camping at Russet Lake
Time: 6 hours
Elevation Gain: 1,300m

Day 2 - Scramble up Fissile Pk
Ascent Time: 2 hours,
Elevation Gain: 570m

Day 3 - Hike out via Musical Bumps
Time: 5 hours

IMPORTANT
ALTHOUGH the organizer of this trip has received training in mountaineering and alpine/crevasse rescue, he is NOT a professional mountaineer, guide or trained first aid attendant. The function of the organizer is only to organize the trip, ensure it gets underway and be familiar or have knowledge of the access to the area, the route or routes. Participants on a trip are responsible for their own safety and are expected to have the necessary skills, experience, fitness, suitable first aid supplies and appropriate equipment in good working order.

For those who have never hiked with me and want to come I can organize a short after-work 喜羊羊山 via BCMC trail outing during week-days before the trip. Those who are willing to attend it (喜羊羊山 hike that is), sign up here http://goo.gl/kaqBsZ ). No guarantees though, the (Fissile) trip is sub-technical and as such, crew is limited to one vehicle only. Once the trip is full, not much can be done to attend. Also, please read about priorities above.. 8)

According to early weather forecast , Sunday will have P.O.P 77% which is above our safety tolerance level of 40%. Hope it will improve by Thursday noon time when final decision will be made - we need to see POP 40% or less for all three days.

Plan B 我选 Goat Mtn。但其他任何 Local Hikes (1 day) or (partial day) 都可以。

希望天氣好轉, 若不能去Russet Lake, Plan B - 1. Tricouni, 2. Rainbow Lake, 3. Elsay Mountain?

We may decide to shrink the trip to fit in dry 2-days window, which at this moment they say will be Sat-Sun, but it will, of course, change as it is typical for this time of year. Plan B is available: http://goo.gl/9dVUoi. Final decision to be made on Thu noon time 8)

Weather forecast looks much better today: Sat-Sun all dry and only 1mm of 44% POP for Mon and only after 23:00pm. Hopefully tomorrow it will get even better. Our safety POP level has to be below 40% for all three days or trip will be cancelled. Final call be made on Thu noon time (tomorrow that is). Plan B available http://goo.gl/9dVUoi
