IMPORTANT
ALTHOUGH the organizer of this trip has received training in mountaineering and alpine/crevasse rescue, he is NOT a professional mountaineer, guide or trained first aid attendant. The function of the organizer is only to organize the trip, ensure it gets underway and be familiar or have knowledge of the access to the area, the route or routes. Participants on a trip are responsible for their own safety and are expected to have the necessary skills, experience, fitness, suitable first aid supplies and appropriate equipment in good working order.

Super trip, super crew!

The smaller the crew the better flexibility. It allows to make the best out of a given situation, which we did, twice. On the Saturday morning last minute change was to start from Lions Bay instead of Cypress Bowl and bivy at the Brunswick lake instead of Magnesia Meadows, then proceed "standard" part of HSCT North. Next morning upon seeing brilliant calm skies above no less brilliant Brunswick lake, we changed the plan once again, to the more exciting and challenging sub-technical traverse Brunswick-Harvey. We were not mistaken - it was both exciting AND sub-technical: glad I didn't leave my emergency climbing gear in the car and Vera packed smart, her overnight pack was only 8.6kg, yet she brought all required stuff: bivy sack, sleeping bag, etc.  See photos and post trip notes here: https://www.crossna.org/forum.php?mod=redirect&ptid=20878 8)
