駕駛距離：溫哥華至Keremeos往返約764公里

A. Trail信息
容後補上。

B. 行程大綱:
Day 1 (Oct 8th): 早上從溫哥華開車到Keremeos Catherdal Lodge的base camp, 車程約6小時
轉乘吉普車(jeep)上山。到Quiniscoe Lake Campground 扎營. 晚上生營火, 喝小酒。

Day 2 (Oct 9): Glacier Lake + South Rim + Ladyslipper Lake Trail 10 hours
Glacier Lake Trail – 3km, elevation change 200m
South Rim – 9km comprises the famous Stone City, Smokey the Bear & the Giant Cleft.
Ladyslipper Lake Trail – 7km, elevation change 200m. The trail is well-maintained but quite slippery with loose rocks.

Day 3 (Oct 10): Lakeview Mountain (2628m) + Goat Lakes Trail 10 hours
Lakeview Mountain Trail – 10km, elevation change 600m. The trail is well-maintained but fairly rugged.
Goat Lakes Trail – 10km, elevation change 150m

Day 4 (Oct 11): 徒步下山。稍事休息, 驅車回溫市

C. 參加者基本要求：
團隊精神 - 共進共退，友愛互助。分工合作，有FUN同享。
個人體能 - 有6小時hiking經歷

D. 責任與備註
戶外活動有風險，一切組織和活動屬自願，責任自負！

E. 費用預算
Camping fee: 每人每晚$10, 3個晚上共$30
單程吉普車: $45
Carpool fee: 待定

F. 其他注意事項:
1. 參加者一經佔位, 要即時交$50留位費。錢到手, 報名才會確認。
2. 如天氣不佳, 還未訂車, 召集人可決定取消活動, 所繳款項會全數發還。
3. 如已訂車, 一定要依計劃進行。
4. 如因私事退出而沒有合適候補人頂替, 所付款項, 恕不發還.

2009年同期十月的游記, 那時松樹已轉成金黃色, 但天氣非常嚴寒, 氣溫降至
-18C.

2天day hiking路線暫定如下:

Day 2 Oct 12: 紫色線 – Glacier Lake + South Rim + Ladyslipper Lake Trail 10 hours

Are we going to take the 4:00 pm jeep to the lodge? It will be nice if the jeep could pick us up earlier, say 2:00 pm. We can just leave Vancouver at 8:00 am.

We will take the 2:00pm ride, but I would like to leave Vancouver at 6:00 am as we have to arrange one car at the Wall Creek Trailhead. More info to be coming tonight.

Oct 11週五行程

7:30am - 所有同學在Chilliwack Tim Hortons集合，吃早餐，把車加満油。

8:15am - 離開Chilliwack。

10:15am - 到Manning Park Lodge, 休息15分鐘。

10:30am - 離開Manning Park。

11:30am - 到Princeton, 加油和食午飯。

12:00pm - 離開Princeton, 開去Cathedral Park base camp - 搭吉普車的地方, 估計約13:00前到。

兩車司機把乘客和行李卸下，然後齊齊開往Ashnola Forest Service Road @38km mark的Wall Creek Trailhead。這處是14號徒步下山的終點。一車留在這裏，兩司機坐另一車回Base camp。兩地距離17Km, 來回要預30 - 45分鐘。

2:00pm - 坐吉普車上山

3:00pm - 到Quiniscoe Lake紥營，自由活動，篝火，potluck dinner, 喝小酒(optional)

駕駛路線

Tim Hortons in Chilliwack
Address: 7670 Vedder Road, Sardis, V2R 4G9

1. From Hwy 1 take exit 119, turn right towards Sardis.
2. You are on Vedder Road.
3. Left turn onto Luckakuck Way.

Cathedral Lodge Base parking lot

Access is via Highway 3: three kilometres west of Keremeos, the Ashnola Road leaves the highway and crosses a red covered bridge, 10 kilometres further the pavement ends and the Ashnola Forest Service Road begins and follows the Ashnola River into the park.

1. Driving Hwy 3, near the western edge of Keremeos, you'll see a BC Parks sign 24KM Cathedral Lakes Provincial Park.

2. Turn south onto the Ashnola River Road.

3. Drive 22.2km southwest to the Cathedral Lakes Resort Base parking lot.

Wall Creek Trailhead

The trailhead is at 38 km on the Ashnola Forest Service Road, 48 km from Highway 3. A footbridge crosses the river. The footbridge is visible from the road crossing the Ashnola River.

Oct 14週一下山路線

Core Area to Wall Creek Trail Head At 20 km and an elevation change of 1,100 metres.

The trail end is at 38 km on the Ashnola Forest Service Road, 48 km from Highway 3. A footbridge crosses the river. The footbridge is visible from the road crossing the Ashnola River. This scenic trail follows the creek up through open parkland forest and into Red Mountain Meadows. Estimate to take 6 hours on descending.

今次活動是汽車露營形式, 每人可以帶兩件行李乘坐吉普車, 可以帶很多好吃的食物, 新鮮蔬果。。。。
但要記著, 下山要背包走20km, 不要超重。

要豪華, 可以早 / 晚餐都光顧Lodge的餐廳，請看價目表。Lodge在Oct 12週六有感恩自助大餐供應, 每位$40。

請問同學們可有興趣在Lodge內享受一頓豐富感恩餐, 感受一下節日氣氛? 我會跟隨大家意願。
