Distance, return: 11km
Elevation Gain: 1,000m

Special Gear
Microspikes
Helmet (bike helmet OK)

A few short parts are steep and equipped with permanent safety chains, you must be comfortable with this kind of moves.

NOTE: If minimum safety levels are not met, the trip will be canceled, last minute cancellations do occur

IMPORTANT
ALTHOUGH the organizer of this trip has received training in mountaineering and alpine/crevasse rescue, he is NOT a professional mountaineer, guide or trained first aid attendant. The function of the organizer is only to organize the trip, ensure it gets underway and be familiar or have knowledge of the access to the area, the route or routes. Participants on a trip are responsible for their own safety and are expected to have the necessary skills, experience, fitness, suitable first aid supplies and appropriate equipment in good working order.

Carpool Fee: N/A
Meeting Place: Grouse Skyride Chalet (top), in front of fireplace
Meeting Time: will be emailed to registered hikers noon time two days prior to the trip

我也是慢的，我觉得慢点没什么不好，只要enjoy就好。还有，我觉得只要了解了如何爬山的要领，自然就不会很慢了。领队一定会教大家的。我们可以一起学习。

Weather this weekend is going to be interesting as nobody knows what exactly it will be. Because of that, trip may move to Sat afternoon instead, half-day up to Thunderbird ridge through Dam Mtn or even just a hike up BCMC trail. Stay tuned for a short note, still better than no trip at all, I am sure! 8)
