大家开车一定要小心：Freezing Rain Warning
Issued at 1:20 p.m. PST Friday 5 December 2014
Summary
Ice build-up due to freezing rain is expected or occurring. Arctic air remains trapped at low levels while bands of warm, moist air flows in from the Pacific at higher elevations. Periods of snow mixed with freezing rain near Whistler will continue through tonight. Precipitation will change to rain by Saturday morning.
Details
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots will become icy, slippery and hazardous. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Freezing Rain Warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required.
