昨天晚上又在想Tenquille Lake are,今天收到两封来自建造维护Tenquille Lake Tail/木屋的pemberton wildlife association的回复及我给他们的回信,由于不确定周末的spring avy condition,我还没有确定,要再想想

Hi, Dave and Allen,
Thank you so much for such a detailed description! It’s a great help. I will keep monitoring Avy condition and then make the decision, our club went Tenquille Lake in 2009 and 2011 (both snow camping at that time) and really enjoyed the area.
I’ll update the trail/cabin condition with pics if we go there this long weekend and put some money into the donation box as well. Thanks again for the emails and for building and maintaining the cabin for our backcountry lovers.
Really appreciate it.

Hello Gloria,
Sorry I was not on email over the weekend. As Allen has said, we have had not recent reports from the cabin. Usually it is not till mid-April that we get in to check on everything and begin working on the trails as snow recedes. With such a light winter, we are set to start within a week. There has been fresh snow on our local mtns as of last weekend, so plan accordingly. Also I suggest you monitor the avalanche conditions which are high at the moment. The section prior to and at Wolverine Creek on the Tenquille Lake Trail (from Lillooet Rive Bridge) is prone to spring avalanches as is Tenquille Pass which travels under Goat Peak and Tenquille Mtn.

You’ll want to bring your own ‘green’ propane bottles for the lanterns and cook stoves. 10 – AA batteries will run the auxiliary LED lighting system.
Allen has given you his number and you are also welcome to call me if I can help.
Cabin is for all to enjoy and there is a donation box in the cabin to help with upkeep.

Hello Lulu -
We have not had a report from the cabin for some time, however I expect it should be in fine shape.
There is no reservation system - users are expected to make room for all comers. Use by commercial operators is not allowed.
If you have specific questions, feel free to call me at 604 894 6063 - that might be more efficient than an email discussion.
