The normal route to the summit of Temple that we took (Southwest ridge) is pretty much a tourist trail all the way - rather amazing given the fact that it gets you over 11,000' above sea level (which is higher, for example, than Mt.Baker, WA or Mount Hood, OR). However it is graded as a "moderate scramble" for one short bold move at elevation 3,016m and some short snow crossing. Probably no harder than Mt. Hanover in BC, only at a bit higher elevation. Those who attended Alpine Workshops should be fine there. 8)
PHOTO: Mantel move at the "crux". It is recommended that those without solid medical climber's insurance better rappel down this part and not downlimb. Two shiny installed rappel bolts are available nearby.
